Why most businesses stagnate (while some flourish)
Picture these two fellow entrepreneurs:
Entrepreneur A is pouring their heart and soul into their business. They’re working long hours, sacrificing sleep but in the end, seem to have nothing to show for it.
Out of necessity, they end up working even harder. Often sacrificing time with their friends and family.
Even self-care takes a backseat because of the constant fires to be put out; fixing bugs, marketing, customer service, and constantly chasing after new customers (because old ones are churning)… it seems like there’s no light at the end of the tunnel.
Slowly but surely, they’re starting to question themselves.
The passion that once inspired them to start their business is gradually replaced by resentment.
Entrepreneur B is different. When they wake up… they feel excited. They check their calendar and are greeted by tons of whitespace that they spend doing what they truly love. Their business feels meaningful. To them… it’s a creative outlet.
Better yet?
Growth is stable and automated. Scaling feels effortless.
The difference?
See, It’s not that Entrepreneur B is smarter — they’re not.
It’s not that they work harder — they don’t.
It’s not even that they’re more experienced. It’s that…
Entrepreneur A is desperately fighting for breadcrumbs in their saturated market…
…While Entrepreneur B is creating a market of their own by building a strong brand on social media which educates people on why THEY are different from their competitors.
It’s the difference between merely CAPTURING demand and CREATING it.
Why most companies struggle…
Based on my observations, the difference between companies that struggle (read: Entrepreneur A) and companies that flourish (Entrepreneur B) … is branding.
While Entrepreneur A merely relies on ads, outbound, or SEO to get customers (which only targets people who already KNOW they want a solution)… Entrepreneur B BUILDS that demand by educating an organic audience that likes and trusts them.
This allows them to tap into an entirely NEW pool of customers — exclusive to THEM.
That’s not the only part of the equation though…
Because Entrepreneur B has gone the extra mile and built a strong brand presence, their outbound, paid ads, and SEO efforts are put on STEROIDS.
Think about it:
Would you rather click on the ad by some random faceless company? Or of a brand you respect and trust?
Obvious choice.
Now, I’m not saying that this is some sort of magic pill that will solve ALL your problems overnight. It’s not. But it’s a hugely important piece of the puzzle when it comes to building a fun and sustainable business.
And that’s exactly what I help my clients do:
Build a strong brand that attracts them a reliable stream of inbound leads.
