Why I woke up at 3:30 AM today
I woke up at 3:30 AM today.
Not because I had an early flight. Not because I pulled an all-nighter.
But…
To watch a
f**king workshop.
Yes. A workshop at 3:30 AM. 😒
It was hosted by email copywriting legend Daniel Throssell (damned Australians and their weird time zones).
Initially, I was bummed out.
Sacrificing sleep? Paying $1,000? For a fricking workshop?
But once the workshop ended…
I was HAPPY I did it.
Not only because the content was great…
But because waking up at an ungodly hour … spending a chunk of cash … and cursing at my alarm clock that morning…
Made me care more.
I took notes as if my life depended on it.
And I made sure I’d actually implement what I learned.
Because when we invest more – energy, money, time – we take things seriously.
Ben Settle talks about this as well.
He makes his books intentionally hard to read to filter out lazy readers. If you won’t put in the effort … you don’t get the reward.
Same thing in business.
If you’re afraid to commit … you’re signaling that you don’t fully believe in your own success.
And that belief? It matters more than any tactic.
Right now, my coaching clients are using AI, better strategies, and smarter execution to sign more copywriting clients.
The biggest shift, though?
They finally bet on themselves.
They’ve taken a risk. They’re fully committed to making it work. Which is why they’re making more progress than ever.
Now, I’m not saying you should invest your last penny into your business. I’d rather have you put food on the table.
But realize this:
The more you invest (not only money but also time & energy) … the bigger your chances of success.
Take a bet on yourself.
I believe in you,
Tim <3
