Why I quit coaching...

The full story

Back in June of last year, I received a question on X.

It was by a creator we shall call A.

His problem?

He’s struggling to attract leads from his content.

And so…

We jumped on a call where he inquired about my coaching program.

I was surprised at first but told him about the details even though I had a bad feeling about it.

The reason?

  • A. didn’t speak proper English (and his written English was even worse)

  • He seemed oddly entitled (which I have a particular distaste for)

  • He asked 4 fucking times about my refund policy ( 🚩)

But by the end … he seemed so keen (and I was so hooked on the idea of having another “hit” in my Stripe account) that I accepted him as a client.

A. would become a nightmare for me.

Every day, he would ask me to correct grammatical errors in his posts.

He wanted to sell coaching on how to attract inbound leads when MF hadn’t even attracted A SINGLE lead in his lifetime. I said no, he got pissed, but eventually changed his offer.

And some other – let’s just call them – altercations.

But despite all this…

A. signed his first client after 3 weeks of working together. I had delivered on my promises.

On our next weekly call … A. asked for a refund.

I wasted hours of time & mental peace … for nothing.

The worst part?

It was my fault.

I ignored the SCORES of red flags. I didn’t prioritize my peace of mind. I didn’t trust my gut and couldn’t resist the money.

This nightmare client crushed my confidence so badly … I “dropped out” of the coaching space altogether.

Looking back…

Coaching was genuinely fulfilling to me.

I had fantastic clients who I’m still friends with today. And I’ve taken people from literally 0 to multiple grand a month.

I just let one nightmare client ruin it all for me.

This time … I’ll do things differently.

  • Peace of mind > profit

  • No abusable guarantee

  • Only clients I feel confident with

No exceptions.

Additionally … I have another 5 (profitable) months of experience under my belt that make me genuinely confident I can change lives.

So next week, I’ll open up my 1-1 program.

I’m helping 3 creators hit consistent $3,000 months while working less than 4 hours per day.

If you’re stuck between $500-1000 per month and starting to feel like an impostor making this “online business stuff” up as you go…

This program is for you.

I’ve packaged up the exact process I used to land a $2,400 deal last month into a 3-pillar system to help you become a highly profitable and respected writer (while enjoying more free time).
