When your barber cuts off too much hair...
Oh ohhhhh
Probably the most common cause of human suffering:
You’re sitting at the barber.
You tell him EXACTLY how you want your hair cut – a couple centimeters off the top, shave down the sides a little, and make it look more polished.
“Right boss, will do!” is the response you get.
And so your barber starts snipping away.
It all starts off harmless: He cuts a couple centimeters off the top, shaves down the sides a little… everything looks nice and well.
But he keeps going…
And going…
Aaaaand going…
You tragically witness your hair getting—
Shorter…
Shorter and…
EVEN SHORTER?!?
Oh nooo! This is not good!
You start to panic.
“Do I tell him?? This is looking suspiciously short!”
But you just sit there… watching your oh-so-beautiful mane go to shambles.
It’s a DISASTER!
Well, this is exactly what happened to me at the barbershop yesterday.
I was very close to breaking out into tears.
BUT…
Luckily, the story has a happy ending.
After she’s done… my barber pulls out the mirror and shows me her creation.
Preparing for the worst, expecting an atrocious battlefield of a haircut… I take a peek into the mirror.
And to my utter surprise…
My hair actually looks BETTER when it’s short!
A sigh of relief leaves my lips.
End’s well, all’s well.
I happily get up from the chair (and almost slip up on my own hair – there was a whole sea of it on the ground) … and pay my barber a handsome fee.
Phew… close one.
But this situation got me thinking:
It doesn’t always go well. Sometimes a lack of feedback can completely backfire.
And what you end up with is a haircut worse than Ronaldo’s haircut from back in the day (google ‘R9 haircut’ if you don’t know what I’m talking about).
We don’t want that.
And that’s why I need YOUR feedback on my upcoming course.
If you haven’t already…
Fill out the survey below and let me know exactly what you’re struggling with so I can provide the MOST POSSIBLE value for you.
It takes 2 minutes to complete.
I thank you,
Tim <3
