- Selling without social proof - 2 easy steps
Selling without social proof - 2 easy steps
Signing clients will be inevitable
The age-old question:
“How do I sell something without social proof?”
I know how hard it can be…
You’re running around like a headless chicken, pitching your offer left and right…
But all you get is people waving you off.
Worse yet, you’re destroying one of your most precious assets in the process.
Your reputation.
But it doesn’t have to be this way.
Let me show you how to attract clients with ZERO social proof, whatsoever.
It all boils down to 2 simple solutions:
A crazy risk reversal.
A solid af personal brand.
Risk Reversal
There is no better way to sell something than by removing ALL the risk for the client.
All of it.
If you don’t have case studies or testimonials, your offer MUST be a no-brainer for potential clients.
You do this by way of a risk reversal mechanism.
This could be:
A guarantee
Pay on results
I’m opposed to the idea of doing work for free.
(That is if you already feel confident in your skills)
The reason for this is that free clients don’t take you seriously. They don’t respond to your texts, they don’t cooperate, it sucks.
Equally, you won’t be as motivated to deliver results. Why would you?
A risk reversal puts money on the line.
The client has skin in the game. You will actually reap the rewards for your work.
The results will be better, the client happier, and your wallet thicker.
It’s a win-win.
Personal Brand
A brand serves as a sort of portfolio.
It gives people a reference point for:
Who you are
What you do
How you act
If pulled off correctly, you can build meaningful relationships with thousands of people.
A.k.a. Trust on scale.
This will make it really easy to sell.
A solid personal brand is a superpower in marketing.
It’s your USP.
People buy because you’re the one offering.
The way to get to that magical point is by posting 2 types of content.
Authority
Personal
Let’s break down each one.
1) Authority
This type of content establishes you as the go-to guy in your space.
We can further break this down into:
value content
insight content
Value content means (as the name suggests) delivering disgusting amounts of value.
Clear, step-by-step instructions for achieving a desirable outcome.
This is how you build goodwill.
How I escaped $0 hell:
• Crafted a killer offer
• Promoted it shamelessly
• Joined mastermind groups
• Hired experienced mentorsLastly...
By being patient.
Everything will fall into place if you're willing to learn.

Insight content is a little different.
It shows the reader that you know something they don’t.
That you have the keys to their dream outcome, but you don’t reveal how to get there.
This teases – almost agitates – them.
This is what will shift readers into the “buying right now category.”
"I need to engage 100x a day to grow"
Fuck no.
Focus on writing good content first.
Master the fundamentals before focusing on bonuses.

(I tell them what they should do, but not how to do it)
2) Personal
This is pretty self-explanatory.
Just post something about yourself.
Your ideas
Your opinions
Your life experiences
This gives the reader an image of who you are.
Why is this important?
Because we only buy from people we like.
And this is by far the best way to filter out everyone who doesn’t like us.
Mustache day 9:
It's coming along nicely.
But I'm afraid we're hitting a plateau...

But this is essentially it.
I know this wasn’t groundbreaking advice…
But it fucking works.
Commit to fixing these 2 and you’ll have your first client in no time.
Thank you for reading Legend!
See ya!
