Online courses more bloated than a gas station burrito
The other day I wrapped up a coaching call with a client.
Before we hung up, I asked him for some brutally honest feedback on the program thus far.
One of my core values in business is client satisfaction.
Every product, every service, every experience is designed to serve my clients in the best way possible. Hence, my plea for feedback.
Anyway…
His response was interesting:
“One thing I really appreciate is that the course material is super clear and digestible. It’s short, to the point, and actionable.”
On that point:
1 year ago … I purchased a $500 course from a big creator who shall remain unnamed.
I have to admit … the production value & design were slicker than a greased-up weasel.
But the content?
Longer than a fricking
Lord of the Rings marathon.
The guy droned on for hours … and hours … and HOURS!
I never finished that course.
