Monkey brain syndrome 🦍đź§
This morning, I went for a walk to catch the sunrise.
It was perfect.
The blushing pink sky, the quiet humming of the world waking up, that crisp cold morning air. MHHHH. So beautiful.
It looked like one of those stock videos they use for motivational Instagram reels.
But while I was witnessing this…
I wasn’t really there.
Instead of soaking in the moment, I kept peeking over the shoulder of the present – thinking about this email.
How do I turn this sunrise into a lesson? What angle should I take? Is this even worth writing about?
And before I knew it…
The sun was up, the magic was gone, and I’d spent the whole time planning instead of experiencing.
Stupid monkey brain.
Ever done that?
You’re so caught up in “figuring things out” that you never actually do the thing?
That’s exactly where most copywriters and ghostwriters get stuck.
They read. They plan. They tweak their offers for the 47th time. They endlessly debate between “authority-building content” or “engagement farming.”
Meanwhile… the ones who take action?
They’re stacking $3k+ months, landing clients left and right, and actually enjoying the business they built.
And that my friend…
Is exactly what I help my coaching client do.
If you’re a copywriter or ghostwriter still circling around success instead of stepping into it, I’m re-opening my 1-1 coaching soon.

But hey… there's the email I was planning on my morning walk.
