Yes, today’s my birthday.

Yep, I'm turning 21.

And yes, it’s on Valentine’s Day.

(No… I don’t have a Valentine this year. 🥲)

But screw it.

Because today, I get to look back and see how far I’ve come.

And trust me… last year looked a lot different.

At the time, I was still stuck with a “leftover client” from my old web design agency – a lawyer from my hometown.

Not a dream client. But it paid the bills.

But on February 14, 2024 – my birthday – I hear a menacing buzzing from my phone.

I pick up.

Gulp.

“Why… WHY didn’t you tell me my website form was broken for TWO WEEKS?!”

My stomach dropped.

“Do you have ANY idea how much business I lost because of this STUPID BLUNDER?!”

Fuck fuck fuuuuuck!

Turns out, a tiny tech issue had cost him over $20,000 (!) in missed leads.

I sprinted to my laptop and fixed it in two minutes.

But it didn’t matter.

The damage was already done.

That day, on my 20th birthday, I sat on my bed and broke down crying.

But I also made a promise to myself.

I swore that I would never let this happen again.

That’s why now…
