How I grow my business in just 2 hours per day

And how you can do the same

I work a part-time job as a software engineer.

Additionally, I’m training for a marathon atm.

Also… University is about to start again.

That’s a lot of shit going on.

So I have to create systems to still make progress in my business.

This email will show you how YOU can systemize your content creation.

(Even if you have a 9-5 or are still in school.)

Because I know that most of us simply don’t have the time to grind away 9 hours a day.

Let’s start.

1. Shortform tweets on Sunday

Let’s talk about the most tedious task first.

Short-forms.

I love writing them, but they take up sooo much time.

And they’re pretty low-leverage.

I post 2-3 of these daily, so I have to write ~20 for the week.

I do that on Sunday:

  • I sit down

  • Gather ideas

  • Schedule as many as possible

There’s no magic to it—just 2 hours of focused deep work.

2. One newsletter every morning

Every morning, before I do anything else…

I boot up my PC to write at least 1 newsletter article (like this one).

I love the early morning for this because you’re just undisturbed & it’s super easy to enter a flow state.

But this doesn’t work every day.

Some days I just feel uninspired.

What do I do then?

I read through my swipe file for 15 minutes and I’m back on track. That simple.

3. Illegal writing at work

Please don’t tell my boss. 🤫

But some of my best tweets have been written at work.

During lunch break (while the others are inhaling bags of crisps) I’m brainstorming my next longform posts.

Sometimes I even start writing.

Very illegal – I know – but what has to be done, has to be done.

4. Longforms in the afternoon & on the weekend

My afternoons are usually consumed by client calls, managing my X profile & long workouts.

Whenever I find the time tho, I’ll start writing my longforms.

But the weekends are where the real magic happens.

I try to spend as little time as possible on the internet on the weekends.

Meaning: Lots of time to write. Yay!

I write in 1-2 hour time increments where I churn out 1-2 longforms each.

I do that 2-3 times and I have my longforms for the week.

It just takes focus.

5. Videos during coffee break

I often do long coffee breaks in the morning because I fucking love coffee.

No, you don’t get it… I FUCKING LOVE coffee.

But those take up a lot of time…

I’ve also made the resolution to upload more video content.

One day I had this brilliant idea: Why don’t I combine the two?

Wow, what a stroke of genius. 🤯

I poured myself my coffee, put on a nice shirt, and started recording.

Crazy right?

But that’s my process of recording.

This was just a veeeeery rough overview of how I do things.

Sometimes things just, well, happen and you have to change plans.

But take this as inspiration.
