The funniest thing I've seen all week

Have you ever seen somebody get hurt, but thought to yourself:

You get what you fucking deserve!

This happened to me last week.

Me and my buddies were sitting on the uni campus just doing our thang when suddenly a cyclist pulled up.

But not just any cyclist…

When I saw him turn his e-bike towards us, I knew we were in trouble.

He was the picture-perfect definition of a stuck-up scaredy-cat.

Yellow warning west.

Khaki shorts.

And worst of all, these exact sandals: 💀

My friends and I were listening to music—loud music to be fair.

But that was about to change. 

Mr. Socks and Sandals came to a screeching halt right before our little circle (not after almost crashing into my friend).

“TURN DOWN THIS FILTHY NOISE!” he howled.

After a short-lived but furious exchange of words, we bailed out.

It wasn’t worth it.

We turned down the music and Socks & Sandals hopped on his e-bike again.

He’d gotten what he wanted. Seemingly.

But not even 10 seconds later, that fucker hits a rock and falls flat on his face.

I almost suffocated from laughter.

You get what you fucking deserve!

But why am I telling you about this peculiar event?

Well, there’s a lesson here:

1. Don’t wear socks and sandals on an e-bike

2. Never make the other person feel bad when criticizing

You see, he was right.

The music was obnoxious and loud.

However, he didn’t have to scream at us.

A friendly remark would have done the job.

Equally, you should never criticize potential clients.

It’s NEVER their fault.

Even if they’re committing the worst business sins of all, you should NEVER make them feel bad for it.

They’ll dislike you (and pray that you trip over a rock).

So be gentle.

Make them aware that what they’re doing isn’t working but do it in a friendly way.

Remember: It’s never their fault.
