I'm hanging between 2 parallel bars. 50kg dangling from my balls. And I'm gritting my teeth about to go for a 5th rep.

Weighted dips.

As I finish the set and unload the plates … I feel it.

Someone’s staring.

I glance over.

And I see … a fellow lifter.

He walks up to me with a friendly smile.

“Good stuff man – impressive weight!”

Fistbump.

“Haven't I seen you around before?” I ask.

And just like that, we started talking.

See, I talk to a lot of people at the gym. After all, it’s a great place to meet high-quality people.

And this guy? No exception.

Turns out, he’s a high-ticket sales closer.

As he uttered these words…

A guy sitting next to us looks over and scoffs … loudly. 🤣

We both noticed.

Looked at each other.

And burst out laughing.
