Business is a slaughterhouse. Are you prepared?

The heat is getting on!

The heat is getting on!

I don’t know about you… but I’ve been feeling some shifts in the market.

Is it just me or does it feel like:

  • Every market has been FLOODED with competition lately

  • Everyone and their mom is joining in on the fun in hopes of snagging a piece of the pie (often resorting to unethical methods)

  • And all this makes it MUCH harder for ethical & impactful businesses to stand out

No matter what market you’re in…

Now is a time when all the weak businesses are sifted out and…

ONLY THE STRONG SURVIVE.

(Bruce Springsteen would be proud).

That’s the rough nature of business.

It ain’t some fairy-airy wonderworld. It’s a fierce and blood-soaked battlefield – where knights in battered, blood-streaked armor swing their axes, horsemen charge through the chaos, slashing their long swords with deadly force. Where archers silently pull back their bows and release poisoned arrows that slice through the air.

It’s savage.

It’s relentless.

Every moment feels like…

Life or death. 😱

Okay… maybe that’s a little exaggerated.

(I watched a medieval documentary yesterday, please excuse this little… episode.)

But there’s some truth to this.

Most industries are becoming a graveyard of failed businesses. Businesses that HAD a lot of potential… but couldn’t stay competitive.

And then…

There’s businesses that seem to flourish.

While everyone else is out on the battlefield fighting for their survival… they just seem to rake in cash no matter what.

I’ve been wondering why.

Why are some businesses on the brink of bitter failure, while others are making a killing with seemingly LESS effort?

Here’s my working theory:

These businesses – those that are flourishing – have a strong brand.

I realize “strong brand” sounds pretty vague.

So let’s add a little nuance:

These businesses have put themselves in a category of their own by building their brand on social media.

See, while other businesses are merely fighting for the scraps… they’ve put their marketing on steroids by BUILDING TRUST and INDOCTRINATING their target market.

Question.

Who would you rather buy from:

  1. The faceless company you see in a random ad on Facebook?

  2. The brand you’ve been following and enjoying for months that’s now releasing a new product?

Not even a question.

A strong brand is your fortress. It’s what protects you from market swings and increasing competition.

Because the market may change however much it wants… but that won’t stop your fans from trusting and buying from you.

And, of course, I would be remiss not to…

blatantly pitch you on my DFY program!

MUHAHAHA 😈

Okay no, on a real note…
